Australian number 1 William Henzell and number 4 Robert Frank were joined by Queensland number 1 Bruno Levis at the Brisbane Table Tennis Club on 3rd & 4th September for a two day table tennis coaching clinic.
37 players from around Queensland, including 11 members of the Queensland Junior State team, attended and worked on a range of the new shots and techniques. The coaches demonstrated the latest shots, such as the backhand sidespin flick, ran intense multi-ball drills and joined in for match-play.
"Table tennis is on the move forwards in Queensland and it's great to see some good talent coming through. It was especially pleasing to see the Queensland Junior team members attending in preparation for the Australian Junior Championships later this month." said Henzell.
The players also enjoyed a sneak-peak inside the ttEDGE.comtable tennis coaching website, which was founded by Henzell and Frank. The website features coaching videos, ultra slow motion, match analysis and training exercises.
Brisbane Table Tennis would like to thank William, Robbie and Bruno for a great weekend and for providing our players with an exciting opportunity to train and be coached by the very best players in Australia.
